Silicone rubber made from 2 or more components usually makes release agents for mold casting superfluous in mold making. As a casting compound, they are used for electrical insulation but also as weather protection or vibration dampers. They are extremely resistant to large temperature fluctuations and are highly resistant to chemicals.

ELBESIL SK 7500 A+B

ELBESIL SK 7500 A+B is a polyaddition-curing silicone rubber. After mixing components A and B, it vulcanizes at room temperature to form a rubber-elastic compound with very good tear resistance and extreme elasticity. The viscosity and Shore A hardness of ELBESIL SK 7500 A+B can be adjusted by means of an additive.

ELBESIL SK 6500

ELBESIL SK 6500 is a polyaddition-curing silicone rubber. After mixing with the HSK 65 crosslinker, it vulcanizes at room temperature to form a rubber-elastic compound with a high Shore A hardness. ELBESIL SK 6500 complies with the requirements of FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 and BfR recommendation XV “Silicones”
