ELBESIL BL, ELBESIL BM, ELBESIL BH, ELBESIL 1178-2, ELBESIL 1122, ELBESIL BT 1013, ELBESIL BA; ELBESIL BP, ELBESIL BPS

ELBESIL silicone pastes are two-phase systems based on thermostable silicone oils and non-melting, highly dispersed silica. They are resistant to temperatures from – 40°C up to + 300°C without any change in consistency.

ELBESIL silicone pastes are insoluble in water, exhibit pronounced hydrophobic behavior and are resistant to water vapor. Diluted acids and alkalis as well as sulphur dioxide do not attack the pastes.

ELBESIL silicone pastes have excellent dielectric properties. These pastes are characterized by high dielectric strength and a low dissipation factor, regardless of humidity.

The ELBESIL BM and EWLBESIL BT 1013 types are certified in Germany (KTW), Great Britain (WRAS) and France (CLP) for contact with drinking water and is therefore suitable for use on drinking water fittings and pipes.
