THE WORLD OF

SILICONE EMULSIONS

The smart way to dispense silicone oils with water.

Applying silicone oils in a thin layer either requires a special application technique or is not possible without specific dilution. As solvents are increasingly being dispensed with for reasons of environmental protection and occupational safety, it is advisable to use an emulsion that can be elegantly diluted with water in any ratio.

We offer silicone oil emulsions formulated for different applications.

ELBESIL EM 6435 – and EM 6460

ELBESIL EM 6435 – and EM 6460 are aqueous emulsions based on a medium viscosity silicone oil. They are non-ionic and have excellent stability and are particularly suitable for mixing with other emulsions or various aqueous additives

ELBESIL EM 6735- and EM 6760

ELBESIL EM 6735- and EM 6760 are aqueous emulsions based on non-reactive silicone oils and non-ionic emulsifiers made from plant-based raw materials. They do not cause stress corrosion cracking on polycarbonate (PC) and acrylic glass (PMMA). They have excellent stability over a wide pH range. They can be mixed with water in any ratio and are extremely frost-resistant.

ELBESIL EM 6500

ELBESIL EM 6500 is an aqueous emulsion based on a highly viscous silicone oil. It has excellent stability and can preferably be diluted with demineralized or softened water in any ratio.

ELBESIL EM 460

ELBESIL EM 460 is an aqueous emulsion based on a non-reactive medium viscosity silicone oil. All ingredients in ELBESIL EM 460 are FDA listed and comply with the regulations of the German BfR notification for silicones chapter XV and the “synoptic document (2005.07.25.EU) as well as FDA, 21 CFR 176.170, 176.210 and 175.300.

ELBESIL EM 6605- and EM 6632

Our ELBESIL EM slide emulsions for the printing industry with a focus on web offset are based on a combination of silicone oils and additives. The emulsions provide very good sliding properties and excellent rub resistance of the printed paper webs. Their optimized wetting of the roller and paper ensures seamless application and provides the desired protection very quickly.
